Portraits

I love taking portraits. It's an opportunity to step into other people's lives and see how they live and what makes them tick. It never ceases to amaze me how much you can tell about a person or their situation from a single photograph.

Some photographers prefer to direct their subjects. My preference is to allow them to relax into their environment. In my experience the defences then drop and personality begins to shine through.
